Demokraatit, which advocates for a gradual path to independence from Denmark, claimed 29.9% of the votes — a significant leap from its 9.1% in 2021. Mandaviya urged political parties to stay out of the professional lives of athletes, emphasizing that their efforts and dedication should be respected. He called for an end to unnecessary criticisms of athletes, highlighting that they represent the nation with hard work and commitment.
